Once upon a time the earth was filled with millions of people, and technology that made cars move, turn the lights off and on, it made the water clean to drink and use. But then one day it all changed with a single death. The living were dying and dying did not stay die, they began to walk again biting, tearing into flesh turning the living into one of them. The world was in chaos those millions of people around the world the numbers dwindling down to thousands, to hundreds and now who knows how many people are still alive. I was born into this apocalypse I never got the chance to know safety. All I know is I have to fight everyday to live for the next.

The Prison and the people within had been through a lot after the attack from The Governor and the people from Woodbury. After The Governor fled with his two henchmen Rick and his group searched for months knowing that he was still a threat to the survival for their group but there was no sign. So it was decided they would stop looking and put all of their focus on the people who had joined them from Woodbury. Everything was as peaceful as it could be in a world with Walkers all around them, now seventeen years after the attack everyone has grown and learned from their mistakes. Carl Grimes is no longer a little boy and wants his father to step down ever since the death of Hershel Greene he believes that his father is losing his touch. But someone else in the group believes they would be a better fit.
